Those little toes need massage too. I've been showing you how to massage someone's feet using the same techniques as you massage someone's hands. Those were sponging and trenching. This week I'm going to show you one way to massage someone's toes just like you massage someone's fingers. Grab the foot with one hand and squeeze a toe with the other hand. Slide the finger from the base of the toe to the tip of the toe. Massage the nail bed. Move to the next toe. Repeat for all five toes. Switch hand if it feels normal to you. I always grab the foot with one hand because I strongly believe in energy connection. Please always touch the partner with both hands during the massage. It space is available, you can put fingers between the toes to massage the sides of the toes. Or you can just slide a finger back and forth in a sawing motion to massage the sides of the toes. Use a thumb or any other fingers depending on the space. For the big toe there's usually big space to grab and massage both sides of the big toe. I just received my massage table today and I am extremely pleased. I was completely surprised by this table. The main table just unfolds and you can use it just as it is. It is a very sturdy table and the legs are made of hardwoods. It is pretty heavy as a portable table. My husband is strong and he wouldn’t want to haul it around. We purchased it for personal use. I knew it would be heavy so this is not a minus for me. With two people it is not that heavy to move around unfolded. I did not realize that part of the table folds up so you can sit up in various positions. The pad is thick and comfy; I was very surprised as to the comfort. Seems very well built.

EarthLite Savannah Portable Massage Table?

1) What carrying cases can I use with it? (I don’t know if EarthLite cases are interchangeable)

I just took a look at the savanah on the massage warehouse website – and I can tell you why you can’t find reviews….its because earthlite is making the table FOR massage warehouse. Now I’ve sold nearly a thousand massage tables in my time (custom craftworks, earthlite, golden ratio, etc) and so I know more than most people should know about these things….
I really liked the earthlite spirit table – comparing the two, here are my concerns – it doesn’t say that the savannah is silent (they would highlight that, and you don’t want a table that squeaks – detracts from the relaxation experience) – and it has less foam than other tables – the comfort of the table is really important – so you might want to get a layer of egg-crate foam or temperature senstive foam for a twin bed at target or such (then trim it to size) or a table with thicker foam…keep in mind, you are gonna be lugging that about and so you’ll need a bigger bag.On the other hand – for the difference in price, there is nothing wrong with buying a less expensive table, working with it for a while, buying a better one, and selling the old one on craiglist (come to think of it – craigslist is a good place to check for a used one – I would say 90% of people who go to school for massage quit after 2 years)
My big complaints about earthlite bags are they are sized too small – they fit tight, are really hard to zipper and then you can’t get sheets, or a blanket and such into them…So order a size up – trust me, you’ll find stuff to put in there if there is room (CD’s, lotion) – -
I used to get my bags (and other stuff) from Steve here – nice guy, he actually used to make all the textiles for custom craftworks – good stuff, good prices, made in the US
Lets see, anything else? Lots of folks are tempted to get a wider table because they might have big clients – keep in mind, that if you are going to be toting that table around between clinics, house calls, etc – that an inch or two of table is five pounds – and trust me, that 5 pounds makes a huge difference after you have carried it 20 feet.
Never – NEVER – go up stairs of any kind with a massage table strapped across your chest (in the bag)
When you can afford it, get a massage table cart – those are so great….
And just because I thought of it….
Never play music with water sounds (ocean, rivers, rain) it makes people want to go to the bathroom – and then they will never be able to relax.

I was stunned when I saw a full size portable massage table with 3″ mattress for $67. It is a fantastic discount portable massage table. It seemed too good to be true -but I read the existing reviews, and based on the fact that I knew it would not be over-used or abused, decided to take a chance. I have to say I don’t know how they do it. Construction is solid, with support wires and brackets in several places. It is sturdy, albeit not robust. As someone else mentioned, the faceplate tilts as far as you want. Perfect length and width, the armrests are functional, but not optimal. Otherwise construction is good, and the 3″ foam is very comfortable. The table folds easily and comes with a soft vinyl case. One other caveat I haven’t been able to find fitted sheets for the 77″ length. For home or personal use or as a beginner table – you cannot beat the value of this table.
